Kat Orlando
Born in Detroit, Kat was inspired early on by vocalists like Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Tina Turner. She began playing flute and sax, listening to bands like Traffic and Jethro Tull. Kat performed with various rock and R&B Bands in the Denver, LA and more recently back in her home town, Detroit, where she now resides. She currently appears with Hidden Agenda. Her CD, "Contradiction" is a mix of R&B, pop and Dance reminiscent of early Janet, Prince and Gloria Estefan. On stage Kat combines her powerful stage presence, strong vocals and searing solos for an electric performance. "Contradiction" is a collection of my songs about (you guessed it!) love, relationships.Okay, there's a few where I contemplate or rant on other things.
